Fundraising For Scouts

Although Scouts is a very affordable activity, we offer several fundraising opportunities to help offset the costs.

Your Scout Account

Every Scout has an account with the Pack which keeps track of fundraising, payments, as well as expenses. When your Scout participates in a fundraising event, the portion of the fundraiser that is attributed to your Scout will be added to your Scout's account.

Scouts selling popcorn

Popcorn Sales

Every year, our district (the Three Trails District) participates in selling Scout popcorn. Popcorn is sold as early as August through the end of October. Popcorn is delivered in November and is also available for in-person purchase at Scout tables throughout the city.

Since popcorn fundraising is part of our district, we ask every Scout to participate in selling popcorn through our Show-and-Sells. Scouts earn a percentage of everything that is sold.

Events

Mother-Son Dance

Pack 220 also puts on a Mother/Son dance in February which is open to the city. Scouts and their parents are encouraged to attend (boys and girls) and the event includes a DJ, snacks, a photo booth, and fun activities. This fundraiser is designed to raise money for the Pack in order to pay for the many activities that we put on for Scouts throughout the year which are not covered by Pack dues.

The Adventure Run

This fun run 5K is put on by alumni and friends of 220 (not by the Pack). All proceeds are donated to the Pack to cover Scouting activities and scholarships throughout the year. Families can help by spreading the word about the 5K and volunteering to serve during the race. For more details visit theadventurerun.com.
