Meetings and Activities
Pack Meeting is usually the 4th Tuesday of the month at Lee’s Summit Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) located at 800 NE Tudor Road on the northwest corner of M-291 and Tudor Road.

Den Meetings (small groups by grade) meet 1 – 3 times per month. Many dens choose to meet on Monday evenings at the church.

Pack 220 is active year round, providing a wide variety of Cub Scout activities. There are usually one or two special events planned each month. Some of these include: the Blue and Gold banquet, Pinewood Derby, father/son overnight, the mother/son event, service projects, family campout, family picnic, swim party, fishing derby, etc. Pack 220 also participates in council camp programs (Day Camp, Bear Camp and Webelos Camp) and other events.

Class “A” Uniform (formal) is worn to Den and Pack meetings and activities September – May.
Class “B” Uniform (informal) is worn to Den and Pack meetings and activities June – August.

Class “A” uniform consists of the official dark blue Cub Scout shirt with all appropriate insignia and awards sewn on, a neckerchief, slide, lanyard, dark blue web belt and solid color pants. Scouts may also where an optional Red Vest on which they display various patches and recognition.

Class “B” uniform consists of any Cub Scout T-Shirt.

The pack currently has three ways to raise money during the year. These are an ongoing can recycling program, pack dues paid annually and Popcorn sales occur during the months of September and October each year. Cubs can participate by selling on their own or participating in the Show and Sell program. Show and Sell program consists of selling the popcorn in front of businesses on Saturday and Sundays during the month of October. Each Cub and parent is expected to participate in Popcorn sales.

The money earned from the fundraisers is used to provide programs, purchase uniform insignia, awards,
patches, lanyards, beads and to help cut costs to camp and pack activities.

Financial Considerations
When You Join:
When you sign your son up to join Pack 220, you will pay a national registration fee and Pack 220 dues.
You may also sign up for the monthly Boys Life Magazine.
National Registration = $2.00 / Month or $24.00 Yearly
Pack Dues = $2.00 / Month or $24.00 Yearly
Boy’s Life Magazine = $1.00 per Month

Ongoing Expenses
Annually everyone must re-charter to continue to be a member of Cub Scouts. These fees are $48 yearly or $60 if Boys Life is included. These will be collected in September.

Some Dens collect money monthly or ask for donations of supplies to help cover the cost of various materials used during Den meetings.

Den and/or Pack Activities. These vary depending upon the Den and Pack 220 activities planned each year. Some examples would be a camping fee ($2) for overnights, entrance fees to Den Activities, etc. The Pack tries to cover or defray the cost for Cubs on Pack Activities (Swimming Entrance Fee, Skating fee, Pinewood Derby Car, etc).

Cub Scout Camp Fees
+ District Day camp is 5 days for all boys in the pack. 2015 Cost is $60.
+ Bear camp is 2 days / 1 night for boys completing 2nd grade. 2015 Cost is $65.
+ Webelos camp is 3 days / 2 nights for boys completing 3rd and 4th grade. 2015 Cost is $145.

3). Submit Dues ( Make Checks Payable to Pack 220 )
4). Adults will have to be trained. Every adult will have to complete Youth Protection and Pack Committee Challenge Training. (Den Leaders will have to take the appropriate training based on their den level. ) Training can be taken online at
